1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
Interior lighting that turns on when the doors are opened
Removal
2. Using a thin screwdriver, remove the lamp from its location and disconnect the electrical wiring.
3. On models equipped with a light inside the vehicle that comes on when the doors with composite reading lights are opened, the lens must be raised from the casing to allow access to the clamps.
4. Remove the interior lights that come on when the doors are opened by carefully removing them from their location using a thin screwdriver.
Installation
5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Glove compartment lighting
Removal
6. Using a thin screwdriver, remove the light from its location and disconnect the electrical wiring.
7. Carefully remove the light using the lever.
Installation
8. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Luggage and engine compartment lights
Removal
9. Using a thin screwdriver, remove the light from its location and disconnect the electrical wiring.
10. Carefully remove the lamp using the lever (see illustration).

Installation
11. Installation is carried out in reverse order
Cigarette lighter lamp
Removal
12. Remove the ashtray-lighter assembly from the panel, then disconnect the wiring and unplug the bulb socket behind the cigarette lighter light housing.
13. Pull the lamp out of the socket,
Installation
14. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Clock Lighting Lamp
15. Remove the watch (Chapter 16).
16. Twist the lamp holder and remove it from behind the clock (see illustration).

17. Pull the lamp out of the socket.
On-board computer display illumination lamp

Heater control panel illumination lamp
Removal
19. Remove the heater control panel as described in Section
20. Remove the bulb holder from the back of the instrument panel (see illustration).

21. Pull the lamp out of the socket,
Installation
22. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Instrument cluster switch illumination lamps
23. If the bulb has burned out in one of the instrument panel switches, replace the switch assembly as described in Chapter 7.
Rear view mirror light
Removal
24. Lower the visor and, using a thin screwdriver, remove the diffuser and mirror assembly. Remove the lamp from the spring contacts.
Installation
25. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
