Headlight unit — removal and installation (Opel Vectra A)

Removal

1. Remove the radiator grille as described in Section 11.

2. Remove the front turn signal lamp assembly as described in Chapter 29.

3. Remove the cover at the back of the headlight unit and disconnect the wire contacts from the lamps.

4. Where installed, disconnect the wire contact connector from the headlamp adjustment motor.

5. Unscrew the three mounting screws and remove the headlight unit (see illustrations).







6. If necessary, the headlight lens can be removed by releasing the spring clips.

Installation

7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
