The brake fluid reservoir is located in the engine compartment. There is a vent hole in the cap of the tank, which must not be closed.
The tank is made of transparent plastic, which allows you to visually control the liquid level.
The liquid level with the plug closed should not exceed the mark "MAX" and not below the mark "MIN".
Fill with FMVSS 571, 116 DOT-4 and SAE J 1703 brake fluid only.
When the disc brakes wear out, a slight drop in the fluid level occurs. This is fine. If the fluid level is slightly above the mark "MIN", and the brake linings have almost reached the wear limit, fluid should not be added.
If, on the contrary, the level has dropped significantly in a short period of time, then this is a sign of fluid loss. In this case, you must immediately locate the leak. As a rule, these are worn cuffs in wheel brake cylinders. It is recommended to check the brake system at a service station.
