The battery is located under the front left seat.
Removal
1. Move the front left seat back as far as it will go.
2. Remove the floor mat (fixators A) (figure 9.34).

3. Remove the hatch cover (bolts B) (figure 9.35).

Note: To remove the hatch cover, simply loosen the bolts (B).
4. Disconnect the wires from the battery terminals, starting with the negative terminal.
5. To remove the battery, release the fastening clamp C (figure 9.36).

Installation
6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. When installing the battery and after each time it is disconnected, it is necessary to perform some simple programming procedures (without using a diagnostic device):
- set the time on the clock;
- enter the four-digit code for the car radio.
