Battery — Removal and Installation (Opel Omega A)

1. The battery is located in the front left side of the engine compartment.

2. Loosen the clamp nut and bolt on the negative (-) clamp, remove the clamp and set it aside.

3. Lift up the plastic cover and disconnect the positive (+) clamp in the same way.

4. Unscrew the clamp bolt at the base of the battery (photo) and remove the battery.



5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order, taking into account that when connecting the negative (-) clamp, it is secured last. Apply a small amount of Vaseline to the terminal connections before squeezing them.
