General information (Opel Frontera B)

The vehicle's electrical equipment is designed using a single-wire circuit. The negative terminal electrically connects the consumers to the body ("ground"), which acts as the second wire.

The nominal voltage of the on-board network is 12 V.

To protect electrical circuits, fuses are used, the color of which corresponds to the fuse protection current. The serviceability of the fuse is determined by the presence of a wire conductor connecting the fuse contacts.

Before starting work on any of the vehicle's electrical components, to prevent short circuits and/or fires during work, disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
