1. Park the car on a level surface and check the oil level. If possible, allow the engine to cool down before doing this. The oil level should be between the MIN and MAX marks on the dipstick. Pull out the dipstick, wipe it dry, reinsert it, pull it out and check the oil level. If necessary, add oil through the filler hole in the rocker cover. Be careful not to overfill (see photos).

2. To change the oil, place a suitable container under the drain plug of the pan. Remove the plug and allow the oil to drain into a container.

3. When all the oil has drained, replace and tighten the plug. If you are going to change the oil filter, you should do so before adding fresh oil to the system.
