Identification numbers (Opel Ascona C)

The identification plate of the vehicle is located in the engine compartment, on the upper surface of the front end panel (see photo). It also indicates the chassis number, model code, body paint code and maximum total weight of the vehicle.



The engine number is stamped on a flat chamfer on the cylinder block (see photo).



The chassis number is stamped on the interior floor panel, between the driver's seat and the cylinder block (see photo).
