2. Check that the brake disc fixing screw is tight, then install and tighten the wheel using a shim approximately 10.0mm thick.
3. Rotate the brake disc and inspect it for deep gouges or gouges. Slight picking is allowed, but if excessive, the disc must be removed and rebuilt on the machine, if tolerances permit.
4. Using feeler gauges, check the output of the disk, which should not exceed the value given in the Specifications. Check the output in several positions around the disc.
5. If the output is excessive, remove the disc and check that the disc-hub surfaces are perfectly clean. Install the disk and check the output again.
6. To remove the brake disc, first remove the brake pads.
7. To remove the front disc, remove the mounting screw (photo), then remove the disc from the hub. On some models it may be necessary to unscrew the frame from the caliper.
8. To remove the rear disc, unscrew the brake caliper from the diagonal arm and move away from the disc, being careful not to damage the hard brake tube. Remove the mounting screw and remove the disc from the hub (photo).
9. Installation is in reverse order, but make sure that the mating surfaces of the disc and hub are perfectly clean and coat it with a small amount of thread locking fluid before installing the mounting screw. Install the brake pads.
