2. Set the selector lever to position "P".
3. Find the support bracket for the gear selection cable on top of the transmission housing and release the end of the latter from it by carefully pulling out the retainer (see accompanying illustration).
2.3 Pull out the lock (3) and release the AT drive cable stop sleeve from the holder
4. Make sure that the selector lever is in the "P" position; without pressing the lever lock release button, try moving it along the guide groove back and forth - the lever should not move.
5. Then, in the engine compartment, turn the actuator lever located on top of the transmission housing forward until it stops, switching the AT to the "P" position (see accompanying illustration). By snapping the latch (see illustration 2.3), secure the gear shift cable in the bracket with the selector lever in neutral and AT position.
2.5. To move AT to position "P" (2), push the AT actuator lever (1) forward until it stops
6. Check the correct operation of the selector - repeat the adjustment if necessary.

7. If the gear shift drive still functions incorrectly after repeated adjustment, it is necessary to perform adjustment using special electrical equipment KM-962-A and KM-962-10 - carefully study the operating instructions.
8. Using a suitable tool (for example, KM-6042) disconnect the drive cable from the actuator lever on the gearbox (see accompanying illustration), then disconnect the actuator lever wiring connector and connect the special equipment (see above) to this connector, connect it to the battery and set the key in the ignition switch to position "II".
2.8. Disconnect the end (3) of the drive cable from the actuator lever (1) of the gear shift: 2. Electrical wiring connector
9. Set the manual actuator lever to neutral position (see paragraph 5), then move it sequentially to the fixed positions "R" and "D" - the corresponding signals should appear on the screen of the KM-962-A device. If the device indication does not correspond to the required one, loosen the 2 mounting bolts (see accompanying illustration) and adjust the position of the lever. Tighten the bolts with a force of 25 Nm, making sure that the lever does not change its position.
2.9. To adjust the position of the actuator lever (2), loosen the mounting bolts (1): 3. KM-962-A device
10. Connect the drive cable and ask the assistant to move the selector lever through all the fixed positions - check the correct operation of the drive using the indication on the screen of the KM-962-A device (see the operating instructions for the device).
11. After completing the adjustment, turn off the ignition, disconnect the instruments and reinstall all removed components.
