Removal and installation the gas pedal (Opel Corsa C)

            0

1. Fuel supply to the engine cylinders is controlled by the ECM, which receives an electrical signal from the gas pedal position sensor installed on the pedal assembly. The pedal is removed together with the sensor. If the pedal assembly fails, it is not repaired in a regular workshop and is replaced completely.

2. In the car interior, in order to provide access to the pedal assembly, unscrew the 2 bolts and remove the lower decorative cover of the instrument panel under the steering column (see Chapter 11).

3. Disconnect the electrical wiring from the gas pedal position sensor/fuel feed sensor (see accompanying illustration). Loosen the mounting nuts and remove the pedal assembly from the engine compartment bulkhead.

7.3. Fastening nuts (2) of the throttle pedal assembly: 1. Electrical wiring connector

7.3. Fastening nuts (2) of the throttle pedal assembly: 1. Electrical wiring connector

4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
