Note: Additional locking of the rear doors should also be included among the security features (see Section 3) and belt force limiting devices.
Remember that there is no such security system that provides 100% protection against all possible damage and injury! The greatest effect is achieved with the integrated use of all the elements of security systems provided for by the design and included in the vehicle package.
For the correct and most effective functioning of all elements of the security system, the position of the body of the seated person is of great importance. The driver and passengers should check the adjustment of the seats and head restraints before each ride. When landing on the seat, it is necessary to give the correct position to your body - it must be firmly pressed with your back to the back of the seat, and your feet should be firmly planted on the floor of the passenger compartment.
Poor seating while driving increases the risk of injury in an accident. For example, if passengers are crouched, lying down, turning sideways, leaning forward or sideways, or climbing into the seat with their feet, the risk of serious injury as a result of an accident increases significantly.
In addition, front passengers in an incorrect seating position can be seriously injured by breaking parts of the interior trim as a result of an accident impact, as well as by deploying the front and/or side airbags.
In order to prevent the risk of unauthorized deployment of the front airbags, try not to press your hands to the locations of their modules on the instrument panel and in the steering wheel hub.
In a vehicle equipped with side/head airbags, if the front passenger's head is tilted to the side while driving and is in the airbag deployment area, the risk of serious injury or injury in an accident is greatly increased.
If your vehicle is equipped with side/head airbags, do not put your hands out the window or lean against the front door of the vehicle with the window down. It is also unacceptable for rear seat passengers to clasp the backs of the front seats or otherwise place their hands/objects in the area of the airbags.
