Note: Below is a description of this procedure using the Corsa C model as an example.
Removal
1. Remove the outer handle (see Section 19).
2. Using a screwdriver, pry up and remove the retaining ring from the back of the lock cylinder housing (see accompanying illustration).

3. Remove the lever with the leash (see illustration 20.2) and two springs, remember their installation position.
4. Insert the key into the lock cylinder and use a ∅ 2 mm drift to knock out the cylinder pin (see illustration 20.2).
5. Turn the key counterclockwise and remove the lock cylinder together with the outer sleeve from the housing.
6. If necessary, remove the inner sleeve, balls and installation sleeve.
Installation
7. Insert the installation sleeve into the lock cylinder body, install the balls into the grooves (B) (see accompanying illustration) and insert the inner sleeve into the housing.

8. Insert the key into the lock cylinder and insert the cylinder together with the outer sleeve into the housing - the projections of the outer sleeve should enter the grooves on the inner sleeve (see illustration 20.7, A).
9. Turn the key clockwise and insert the pin.
10. Make sure that the grooves of the inner sleeve on the back of the housing are in the correct position (see illustration 20.7, C). Install the compression and torsion springs, paying attention to the correct installation of the ends of the torsion spring.
11. Install the lever with the leash, compress the spring and install the locking ring - the position of the leash and the torsion spring should not change.
