Corsa Models
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery (see Chapter 5).
2. Remove the trim of the corresponding door (see Section 23).
3. Separate the insulating film from the door frame as much as necessary to clear access to the relevant parts.
4. On the rear door, remove the inner door handle (see Section 21). Using a drift, knock out the rivets on the rear door lock release button lever, disconnect the lever and cable holder from the door assembly.
5. On the rear door, remove the glass guide.
6. Disconnect the window lifter motor wiring connector (see accompanying illustration).

7. On the front door, loosen the 2 nuts and remove the outer door handle mounting cup (see illustration 18.6).
Note: On the rear door, to remove the outer handle, you also need to remove the mounting cup.
8. On the front door, release and separate the door handle rod from the lock latch and the drive rod from the lock cylinder housing (see illustration 18.6).
9. Remove 3 screws on the rear end wall of the door (see accompanying illustration) and separate the lock from the door frame.

10. Disconnect the cable from the inner door handle and the lock release button (see accompanying illustration).

11. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. If necessary, replace the insulating film. Pay attention to the reliability of the cables and rods. Without slamming the door, check the operation of the locking mechanism.
Meriva Models
12. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery (see Chapter 5).
13. Remove the door trim (see Section 23).
14. Separate the insulating film from the door frame as much as necessary to clear access to the relevant parts.
15. Pull up the retainer and disconnect the electrical wiring connector of the window lifter motor on the door lock (see accompanying illustration).

16. Remove the 3 screws on the rear end wall of the door and separate the lock from the door frame (see illustration 18.9).
17. Disconnect the cable from the inner door handle and the lock release button (see illustration 18.10).
18. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Replace the insulating film if necessary. Without slamming the door, check the operation of the locking mechanism.
