Removal and installation of the electronic engine control unit (Opel Astra J)

You will need a 10 mm socket head.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Press the lock of the wiring harness connector…

4. …and disconnect the connector from the engine control unit.

5. Disconnect the second connector from the block in the same way.

6. Unscrew the four nuts securing the electronic engine control unit to the bracket on the battery mounting shelf…

7. …move the wiring harness mounting bracket away…

9. Install the engine control unit in the reverse order of removal.
