1. Raise and place the front of the vehicle on stands. Remove the wheel.
2. Loosen the hub nut.
Note. The hub nut is tightened to a very high torque. To unscrew, fix the hub with a mounting spatula (or small crowbar), resting it on the wheel nuts screwed onto the studs, as shown in the photo for item 2.
3. Completely unscrew the hub nut and remove it.
4. Remove the front wheel brake caliper assembly (see Front wheel brake caliper replacement), without disconnecting the brake hose, and secure it with wire without twisting or pulling the hose.
5. Remove the wheel speed sensor from the steering knuckle (see Replacing wheel speed sensors).
6. While holding the bolt from turning, unscrew the nut of the coupling bolt of the terminal connection of the steering knuckle with the ball joint..
7.... and remove the bolt.
8. Remove the ball joint pin from the steering knuckle.
9. Turn away a nut of fastening of a finger of the hinge of an external tip of steering draft to a rotary fist, holding a finger by the second key from turning..
10.... and remove your finger from your fist.
11. Remove the brake disc (see Replacing the brake disc of the front wheel brake mechanism).
Note. When removing the steering knuckle, it is not necessary to remove the brake disc. However, when replacing a knuckle or front hub, the removal of the disc will be required, and it is more convenient to do this work on a knuckle mounted on the car.
12. Remove the front wheel hub (see Front wheel hub replacement).
13. Holding the bolts from turning..
14.... unscrew the nuts of the two bolts securing the shock absorber strut to the steering knuckle..
15.... and remove the bolts from the holes of the rack and knuckle.
16. Remove a rotary fist.
17. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal. Torque tighten bolts and nuts.
18. Check and, if necessary, adjust the wheel alignment. Use the services of workshops with special equipment.
