2. On diesel engines with a working volume of 1.3 and 1.9 l with the M32 transmission, control and adjustment of the transmission oil level are not provided. If a leak is detected, it is necessary to eliminate its cause and replace the transmission oil as described below.
3. Bring the transmission oil to operating temperature by driving approximately 30 km.
4. Unscrew the threaded plug of the oil drain hole (see accompanying illustration) and let the oil drain into a previously prepared container.

Note: It takes at least 10 minutes for the oil to drain completely.
5. Screw in the new threaded plug and tighten it to 20 Nm.
6 Remove the battery and battery support tray (see Chapter 5), unscrew the threaded plug of the oil filler hole at the top of the gearbox, next to the gearbox support.
7. Fill the gearbox with 2.2 l of new transmission oil.
Note: The full filling volume of transmission oil is 2.4 l - approximately 0.2 l remains in the box when draining the oil. Do not overfill the oil under any circumstances. A new gearbox is already filled with 0.7 l of oil, so after installing it on the car, you only need to add 1.7 l.
8. Tighten the new threaded plug to the required torque and install all removed components back in place.
