1. In the passenger compartment, in order to provide access to the clutch pedal, remove the lower casing of the steering column, the panel of external lighting switches to the left of the steering column, the left lower decorative cover of the instrument panel lining (see chapter 11).
2. Disconnect the sensor-switch (see resist. illustration), remove the clutch pedal return spring, and then remove the retainer and remove the clutch master cylinder pusher split finger pin to the pedal.
3. Turn out 2 bolts of fastening of a basic arm of a pedal to a steering cross-beam, give 2 nuts of fastening of an arm of a pedal to a bulkhead of an impellent compartment / the main cylinder of coupling (see illustration 6.2).
4. Push the master cylinder studs back so that they do not protrude from the baffle.
5. Carefully remove the pedal assembly and remove it from the passenger compartment.
6. Check the pedal bracket for deformation and damage (the assembly is designed to be easily deformable in order to improve crash safety). Assess the degree of wear of the bushings. Replace failed components. If necessary, the pedal can be removed from the bracket by unscrewing the fixing bolts.
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. If necessary, the pedal axle and bushings should be lubricated with universal grease before installation, check the smoothness of the pedal.
