Single shaft (SOHC) engines
1. Decompress the fuel system. Disconnect the battery from ground.
2. The procedure for removing and partially disassembling the pipe is illustrated in the photo.

3. Installation is carried out in reverse order
Twin-shaft (DOHC) engines 1.4 and 1.6 l
4. Decompress the fuel system. Disconnect the battery from ground.
5. Remove the upper engine cover by unscrewing the screws and removing the oil filler plug.
6. Disconnect the air intake duct from the top of the air filter and throttle body (see above). On Zafira models, this will require removing the seal and the air vent panels under the windscreen (see above)
7. Disconnect the purge hose from the absorber tank on the left side of the air duct (see photo).

8. Disconnect the throttle cable from the throttle body.
9. Loosen the bolts and lift the throttle body by turning. Mark and disconnect the hoses from the body.
10. Disconnect the wires from the throttle pipe and remove the pipe.
11. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Replace all gaskets and seals of the disassembled connections
Engines 1.8 and 2.0 l
12. Decompress the fuel system. Disconnect the battery from ground.
13. Remove the upper engine cover by unscrewing the screws and removing the oil filler plug.
14. Disconnect the connector from the film air flow meter (see photo).

15. Loosen the clamps and disconnect the air duct with the air flow meter from the throttle body and air filter. On Zafira models, this will require removing the engine compartment seal, the air vent panels under the windscreen and the cover above the engine compartment bulkhead (see above).
16. Disconnect the throttle cable from the throttle body. On models with cruise control, remove the cotter pin and disconnect the cruise control cable end from the ball joint on the throttle lever.
17. Loosen the bolts and remove the cable bracket from the pipe.
18. Disconnect the ventilation hose from the branch pipe.
19. Clamp the cooling system hoses and disconnect them from the throttle body (see photo).

20. Disconnect the fuel tank vent hose from the throttle body.
21. Disconnect the connectors from the pipe.
22. Mark and disconnect the remaining hoses from the branch pipe. Unscrew the bolts and remove the branch pipe (see photo).

23. Installation is performed in the reverse order. Replace all gaskets and seals of the disassembled connections. Attention! In case of replacing the throttle pipe with a new one, the engine processor unit should be adapted in a car service center.
