Front exhaust pipe
1. The front exhaust pipe is bolted to the exhaust manifold. On 1.4 and 1.6 L engines, a bracket is also provided (see photo).
Intermediate exhaust pipe
2. Loosen the bolts, remove the springs and remove the intermediate exhaust pipe (see photo).
Final exhaust pipe
3. The fastening of the final exhaust pipe to the intermediate pipe is no different from the fastening of the intermediate exhaust pipe to the front pipe.
4. On the vehicles in question, the entire exhaust system can be removed by unscrewing the front pipe fastenings on the exhaust manifold and removing them from the rubber mounts.
5. When assembling, replace all gaskets of the disassembled connections. Connections without gaskets are assembled using a special high-temperature paste.
