Removal and installation
1. Set the rotary switch for the outdoor lighting modes to the "O" position (see Chapter "Controls and operating techniques", Section 17) and turn off the ignition. Disconnect the battery (see Chapter 5).
2. Open the trunk lid/tailgate, press the latches (see illustration 3.4a) and fold down the service cover in the side trim of the luggage compartment (see also Chapter "Controls and operating techniques", Section 17).
3. Disconnect the electrical wiring connector (see accompanying illustration). While holding the rear combination light assembly from the outside, loosen the 3 nuts and remove the assembly by pushing it backwards.-

4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Check the proper functioning of the lamps.
Replacing lamps
5. Open the boot lid/tailgate, press the catches and fold down the service cover in the side trim of the boot (see above).
6. Disconnect the electrical wiring connector, press the clamps (see accompanying illustration) and remove the lamp holder from the rear combination lamp assembly.

7. Lightly press the faulty lamp into the socket, turn it counterclockwise and remove it from the socket.
Note: On some models, depending on the importing country, the fog lamp lights up only on the left side, the lamp on the right side can be used as a spare.
8. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

9. The rear combination light on these models consists of two parts: one is built into the rear side of the luggage compartment, the other - into the tailgate. Removal/installation of the first of them is carried out in the same way as on the Hatchback models. The difference lies in the design of the service covers (see illustration 3.4b) luggage compartment - to remove them, you need to press 2 locks. The fastening of the section of the light installed on the side of the luggage compartment is shown in the accompanying illustration.

10. To remove the section of the combination lamp built into the tailgate, set the rotary switch for the external lighting modes to the "O" position (see Chapter "Controls and operating techniques", Section 17) and turn off the ignition. Disconnect the battery (see Chapter 5).
11. Remove the tailgate trim (see Chapter 11).
12. Disconnect the electrical wiring connector (see accompanying illustration), remove 2 decorative plugs from the tailgate, loosen 3 nuts and remove the combination rear light section.

13. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Replacing lamps
14. To replace the bulbs in the section built into the side of the luggage compartment, remove the rear combination light (see above).
15. Remove the 3 mounting bolts (see accompanying illustration) and remove the bulb holder from the rear combination light assembly. Otherwise, the bulb replacement procedure is the same as on Hatchback models (see above).

16. To replace the lamps on the section built into the tailgate, you must first remove the tailgate trim (see Chapter 11).
17. Unscrew the socket with the faulty lamp from the back side of the section (see illustration 16.12).
Press the bulb lightly into the socket, turn it counterclockwise and remove it from the socket.
18. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Check the proper functioning of the lamps
Signum Models
Removal and installation
19. Removal/installation of the rear combination light is the same as on the Hatchback models (see above). The difference lies in the design of the service covers of the side storage compartments of the luggage compartment (see illustration 3.4b) and, in addition, inside the glove compartment it is necessary to press 2 clamps and remove the service cover of the assembly of the corresponding rear combination lamp.

Replacing lamps
21. Remove the rear combination light (see above).
22. Press down the 4 clamps (see accompanying illustration) and remove the bulb holder from the rear combination light assembly.

23. Lightly press the faulty lamp into the socket, turn it counterclockwise and remove it from the socket.
24. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Check the proper functioning of the lamps.
