2. Install all fixtures in reverse order. After installation, check the correct functioning of the replaced lamps and the reliability of fixing the shades and diffusers.
Directional individual lamps for the front seats
3. Using a screwdriver, carefully remove the diffuser of the lampshade of the front seats (see resist. illustration).

4. Remove the failed lamp from the socket (see illustration 19.6) and replace.
Directional rear seat lights
5. Using a screwdriver, pry off the lamp on the left (in the direction of the car) side, wring out the lamp and remove it from the seat.
6. Depress the latch spring and open the metal protective cover on the back of the luminaire (see resist. illustration). Disconnect the wiring connector and replace the failed lamp.

Luggage compartment/main glove box lights
7. Carefully, using a screwdriver, remove the diffuser from the trim in the corresponding part of the cabin (see resist. illustration).

8. Lightly press the soffit in the spring-loaded holder and remove it.
Door sill lights
9. Open the door.
10. Press the backlight up (see resist. illustration) and with a plastic wedge (e.g. Hazet 1965-20) remove the lamp from the door. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the lamp.

11. Press the cartridge inside the lampshade, turn it counterclockwise and separate it from the lamp (see illustration 20.10). Remove the bulb from the socket and replace it.
