Motor oil additives
"The use of additives - no matter what kind - in lubricating oils is contrary to our operating instructions and can lead to disputes in warranty and business relations." This is Opel's opinion on additives in oils. Whether the additional cost of oil additives translates into a corresponding extension of engine service life remains debatable - especially in the case of high-performance oils.
