- Is the wire connector disconnected at the ignition or injection system nodes?
- Check the tightness of the ignition wire on the DIS ignition module and spark plug connectors (the ignition must not be turned on!).
- Are all the vacuum hoses in the engine compartment on the appropriate fittings?
- All parts of the ignition system must be clean and dry, otherwise there is a risk of surface leakage currents and voltage surges.
- Smell of gasoline in the engine bay? Is one of the fuel hoses leaking, or has it even become loose?
