Control unit for external and internal lighting (Opel Zafira A)

The control unit is located on the left side of the instrument panel and combines the switch for external and internal lighting, electric headlight corrector, brightness control for the backlight of the control instruments and controls, rear fog light switch and (depending on the configuration) fog lights.



1 - switch for external and internal lighting.

By turning the switch, you can set the following modes:



Pulling the switch towards you turns on the interior lighting (behind closed doors).

2 - brightness regulator for the backlight of control instruments and controls.

By turning the control wheel up or down, you can set the desired backlight brightness.

3 - rear fog light switch.

The fog lights only come on when the ignition is on and the low beam headlights or fog lights are on.



4 - fog light switch.

The fog lights only come on when the outside lights are on.

5 - electric headlight corrector.

Designed for remotely changing the tilt of the headlight beams in the vertical plane under different vehicle loads.

Warning! Always set the electric headlight range control to the appropriate position (see below), as blinding the driver of an oncoming vehicle can have the most serious consequences!

To properly illuminate the road and prevent blinding drivers of other vehicles, the mark on the electric corrector control wheel should be aligned with the corresponding marks (numbers) on the unit for different loading options:

• 0 - one driver or a driver with a passenger in the front seat;
• 1 - driver with four passengers;
• 2 - one driver and cargo in the luggage compartment;
• 3 - driver with four passengers and cargo in the luggage compartment.
