Tip: In cars with a catalytic converter, it is often warned against rolling, pushing and towing. If the engine does not start due to a discharged battery, this is not dangerous. The situation is different if there is a defect in the ignition system: in this case, unburned particles of the combustible mixture can burn out and raise the temperature in the catalytic converter to a dangerous level.
