Remove the hatch for installing the towing bar by prying from the bottom and pushing up.
The towing eye is located in the tool bag under the spare wheel.
Screw in the eyelet and tighten with a wheel bolt wrench until it is in a horizontal position.
Attach a rope or rigid rod to the eye. Turn on the ignition, move the gearshift lever to neutral position (automatic transmission selector - to position N). When towing, avoid sudden jerks during acceleration or starting off.
Cars with automatic transmission must be towed only in the position of the body in the direction of movement forward, at a speed of not more than 80 km / h, for a distance of not more than 100 km. If the transmission is faulty, or if the towing speed and range are greater than those indicated above, then the vehicle should be towed with the front end up.
