Removal air from the fuel system (Opel Vectra A)

It is necessary to remove air from the fuel system if it has been opened or the car has been driven with an almost empty tank.

Check the presence of fuel in the fuel tank.

Start the engine with the starter and let it run at high speed for 30 seconds. Then turn it off several times for 5 seconds and start it again. The air will come out of the fuel system itself.



If the engine does not start due to air locks, then it is necessary to unscrew the union nut at the injector N1 or N4 and turn on the starter so that the fuel begins to flow out. Then tighten the nut and start the engine.

Caution! Fuel must not come into contact with the coolant hoses. If this happens, clean the hoses. Replace damaged hoses.
