Removal and installation the door lock cylinder (Opel Vectra A)

Removal

Remove the door handle.

Caution! Before removing the lock cylinder, insert the key into the lock.

Remove the retaining ring.

Remove the leash 6 (Fig. D1108). Make sure that the return spring 4 does not jump out.

Remove return spring 4 with ball 5.

Remove grip 3 and take out lock cylinder 1 from cover 2.

Attention! Remove the cylinder with the key inserted!

Caution: Before removing the key from the cylinder, wrap the cylinder with adhesive tape to prevent the discs from falling out.

Installation

Insert the cylinder with the key inserted into the cover.

Insert capture.

Put on the coil spring with the ball.

Put on the leash and secure with a locking ring.

Install the door handle.
