Removing
Remove door trim.
Remove protective film. Be careful not to tear it.
Lower the glass halfway and secure it in this position with two plastic wedges.
Disconnect the power window connector.
Electric window regulator
Manual window regulator
Drill out rivets 1 for power window regulator with a 8.5 mm drill bit and knock them out with a punch to the rear.
Attention! Do not damage the door!
Mark the position of the screws 2 securing the lower rail by tracing their heads with a waterproof felt-tip pen. Loosen the screws.
Remove stop 3 and pull power window out of door.
Installation
Before installation, check the operation of the power window lever.
Insert the lever support into the guides.
Install the lever in the door cutout. To do this, clamp the window regulator with a clamp, having previously adjusted it to the holes. Fasten the window regulator with countersunk rivets (rivet dimensions: 4.8x11 mm).
If the specified rivets or related hardware are not available, secure the window lifter with suitable bolts and nuts. Lubricate nuts with Loctite protective paste before installation.
Fasten with screws 2 (see fig. D1144) lower guide in accordance with the marks made. If necessary, use these screws to adjust the position of the glass in the guide relative to the door frame.
Connect the motor connector.
In the case of a power window: adjust its setting. To do this, close all doors, press and hold the window close switch for at least 2 seconds.
In the case of a manual window regulator: check its operation. The glass should move up and down easily.
Attach the protective film with double-sided adhesive tape.
Install the door trim.
