Removal and installation the rear axle beam (Opel Vivaro A)

Removal

1. Place the vehicle on a two-post lift.

2. Secure the vehicle to a two-post lift.

3. Install the pressure device on the brake pedal (to limit the leakage of brake fluid).

4. Remove the wheels and rear suspension springs.

5. Unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts and remove them.

6. Remove the wheel sensors (on cars with ABS), unscrew the brake force regulator rod nut (except for cars with ABS), disconnect the parking brake system drive cables and flexible brake system hoses.

7. Unscrew the cross rod mounting bolts and remove it.

8. Place a hydraulic jack under the rear axle beam and securely fasten the jack.

9. Unscrew the rear axle beam mounting bolts and remove it.

Installation

10. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Rear axle beam mounting bolts - 105 Nm.
