Headlight — removal and installation (Opel Frontera B)

Note: Turn on the headlights, set the headlight range control to position "0" and turn off the headlights.

Removal

Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

Remove the radiator grille (1) (see the relevant chapter).



Remove 3 screws, disconnect the connector and remove the side marker light (3).

Remove 3 screws, disconnect the connector and remove the headlight (2) from the front cross panel.

Installation

Install the headlight to the front cross panel, secure with 3 screws, tighten them to 6 Nm, then connect the connector.

Install the side marker light to the front crossbar, connect the connector, and secure the light with 3 screws.

Install the radiator grille (see the relevant chapter).

Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.

Adjust the headlights. When adjusting the light of one headlight, turn off the other headlight by disconnecting the connector from it. If this is not possible, do not block the light from another headlight for more than 3 minutes, as it may overheat.
