Headlight — removal and installation (Opel Omega A)

1. Remove the front turn signal bulb (Chapter 28).

2. Remove the radiator grille.

3. Disconnect the headlight wire contact (photo).



4. On models with headlamp range control, disconnect the wire connector (photo).



5. On models with a headlight washer/wiper system, the front bumper must be moved to one side. To do this, unscrew the bolt located below the wheel arch, unclip the wheel arch guard and remove the side of the bumper. The wiper arm can also be removed and the washer tubes disconnected (photo).











6. Unscrew the three mounting bolts and remove the headlight (photo).







7. Where installed, remove the headlight wiper motor (two screws) and headlight range control motor (photo).





8. The lens and gasket can be replaced by removing the spring clips with a lever (photo).





9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order, but adjust the direction of the headlight as described in next chapter.
