2. In the engine compartment, pull the cable through the bulkhead and remove the sealing ring.
3. Jack up the front of the car and secure it on axle supports.
4. Unscrew the knurled nut and disconnect the cable from the gearbox (photo). Remove the cable.
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order, but make sure that the cable is not stretched or bent.
