Cigarette lighter illumination — removal and installation (Opel Omega A)

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

2. Remove the heating element from the cigarette lighter socket.

3. Carefully remove the cigarette lighter lighting ring using the lever. Disconnect the socket and remove it (photo).



4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When inserting the socket into the lighting ring, make sure that the ring locking devices do not catch the smooth part of the socket. Turn the socket clockwise to secure the locking devices.
