2. The purpose of the fuses is given in the Specifications. Similar information is found on the back of the fuse box cover.
3. A fuse puller and spare fuses are located in the lower right corner of the box.
4. When replacing a fuse, de-energize the circuit first (And). If new fuses blow immediately when the ignition is turned on, find and eliminate the cause. The most common cause of a blown fuse is a ground fault.
5. If a blown fuse is protecting more than one circuit, the faulty circuit can be determined by removing each component in turn from the circuit.
6. Never use foil or wire in place of a fuse, and never install a fuse with a higher rating than specified in the Specification. This may cause serious damage.
