Removal and installation a car radio (Opel Astra J)

You will need: 7 mm spanner, flat blade screwdriver.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

3. Slide the covers of the air flow control handles of the central heating and air conditioning vents to the sides.

4. Remove the four bolts securing the car radio and heating and air conditioning control unit…

5. …then move the unit away from the instrument panel.

7. …and disconnect the wiring harness connectors from the car radio and heating and air conditioning system control unit.

10. …and remove it from the socket in the instrument panel.

12. …and disconnect the antenna cable connector from the radio.

13. By pressing the lock of the wiring harness connector…

14. …unfasten the retainer…

15. …disconnect the wiring harness connector from the car radio…

16. …and remove the car radio.

17. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
