1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.
2. Remove the refrigerant from the air conditioning system (see Removing refrigerant from the air conditioning system).
3. Remove the front bumper (see Removal and installation of a forward bumper).
4. Wring out a clamp and disconnect a block of a plait of wires from the gauge of pressure.
5. While holding the stud from turning, unscrew the nut securing the high pressure inlet pipe flange to the condenser flange and disconnect the pipe from the condenser.
6. Disconnect the outlet pipe flange in the same way.
Attention!
- Immediately after disconnection, plug open pipe ends to prevent dirt and moisture from entering the system.
- Pay attention to the sealing rings of the flange connections of the pipelines. During the repair of the system, when the pipelines are disconnected, the sealing rings must be replaced.
7. Wring out holders of the condenser on tanks of a radiator.
8. Slide the condenser up a little and remove its lower supports from the holders.
9. Remove the condenser by lifting it up.
10. Install the condenser in the reverse order of removal.
Attention! Only open the access plugs on the flanges of a new condenser just before connecting the piping.
When installing new pipe flange O-rings, be sure to lubricate them with A/C compressor oil.
11. Charge the air conditioning system with refrigerant at a specialized auto air conditioning service center.
