The outside temperature sensor, although located at the front of the car behind the bumper pads in a place protected from sunlight and ventilated, is exposed to factors such as warm air from the engine and radiation from hot asphalt. Therefore, its readings may sometimes be somewhat overestimated, especially after a long stay in traffic jams. The outside temperature readings can be considered correct when driving at a speed of at least 40 km / h for at least 10 minutes.
You will need a thin-bladed screwdriver.
If it is necessary to replace the sensor, perform the following operations.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the front bumper (see Removal and installation the front bumper).

3. From the inside of the bumper, press the locking tab of the outside temperature sensor wiring harness…
4. …and disconnect the connector from the sensor.
5. Squeeze the sensor holder tabs…
6. …and remove the sensor from the bracket on the bumper.
7. Install the outside temperature sensor in reverse order.
