The ambient air pollution sensor is located at the front of the vehicle in the air intake box in front of the windshield.
You will need a thin-bladed screwdriver.
If it is necessary to replace the sensor, perform the following operations.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the air intake box grille (see Removal and installation the air intake box grille).
3. Press the locking tab of the sensor wiring harness connector…
4. …and disconnect the connector from the sensor.
5. Press the sensor holder retainer plate…
6. …and remove the sensor from the bracket.
7. Install the ambient air pollution sensor in reverse order.
