Removal and installation the electric motor for adjusting the headlight position (halogen headlights, Astra models) (Opel Astra H)

1. Disconnect the battery (see Chapter 5).

2. Remove the headlights (see Section 15).

3. The drive motor is mounted on the rotary device on the back side of the headlight unit (see accompanying illustration). Insert a sharp blade between the engine cover and the headlight and separate (cut off) the cover.



4. Disconnect the drive motor wiring connector, turn the motor (see accompanying illustration) and release it from the holder. Remove the drive motor from the swivel device.



5. When installing, secure the motor in the holder, connect the electrical wiring. The new cover is installed using a sealing gasket and three mounting bolts.

6. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
