1. Pry up and separate the rearview mirror pillar cover using a plastic wedge (see accompanying illustration). Disconnect the rain sensor wiring connector, press the 2 clips and remove the sensor.
2. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

3. Remove the rain sensor cover (see Chapter 11, Section 32).
4. Release the sensor wiring from the holder, disconnect the wiring connector, use a screwdriver to separate the mounting bracket and remove the rain sensor (see accompanying illustration).
5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
