Removal and installation windshield washer nozzles (Opel Astra H)

Windshield



1. Remove the fairing grille (see Chapter 11).

2. Press the latch (see accompanying illustration) on the back of the grille and remove the nozzle from the seat. Disconnect the hose from the nozzle.

3. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

4. If necessary, adjust the direction of the washer fluid jet onto the windshield by inserting the needle into the appropriate nozzle (service stations use the HAZET 4850-1 device) and direct the nozzle to the desired point.

Rear window



Hatchback and Astra GTC models

5. Remove the tailgate trim (see Chapter 11).

6. Remove the high level brake light (see Section 20).

7. On Hatchback models simply remove the nozzle from the brake light assembly, on Astra GTC models you must first press the 2 clips.

8. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Models Station wagon and Zafira

9. Using a plastic wedge or other suitable tool, pry the injector out of the tailgate mounting socket (see accompanying illustration). Disconnect the supply hose from the injector.

11. Remove the front bumper cover (see Chapter 11).

12. Disconnect the headlight washer hose from the back of the trim.
