4. Pry and remove the windshield washer nozzle from the cover, disconnect the tube from the nozzle and pull it out of the cover, tying the wire to the tube.

5. Remove the spring clips from the lid posts (the assistant must hold the lid), disconnect the struts from the ball joints.

7. Installation is performed in the reverse order. Pull the wires into the cover, tying them with a wire. Transfer all the parts from the removed one to the new cover (buffers, lock, wires, etc.). Lubricate the hinge axles.



8. Adjust the position of the cover so that the gaps with adjacent panels are the same around the entire perimeter of the cover.

9. The position of the lid is adjusted by moving it with the hinge bolts released (covered with a decorative overlay) or by adjusting the position of the lock retainer (see photo).
