Electric window lifter parts — removal and installation (Opel Astra G)

Switches

1. The switches are mounted on the doors on the driver and passenger sides.

2. Pry up and remove the switch, disconnecting the wire.

3. Remove the window lift mechanism (see above).

4. Unscrew 3 screws and remove the electric drive.

5. Installation is performed in the reverse order. Set the electric drive control unit to the state corresponding to the raised position of the windows. To do this, while in the driver's seat, close all the doors, turn on the ignition and slightly lower the window, raise the window, press the window lifter switch and release it after 2 seconds.
