Rear Compartment Lid Hinges — Removal and Installation (Opel Astra G)

1. Remove the rear compartment cover.

2. Remove the seal from the top edge of the rear compartment opening.

3. Remove the trim panels from the rear pillar on both sides of the rear compartment (see below).

4. Remove the decorative panel of the rear compartment interior trim, outline the contours of the hinges, unscrew the bolts and remove the hinges.

5. Installation is performed in reverse order. Align the hinges along the contours marked during disassembly.
