Optical element of the outside mirror — removal and installation (Opel Astra G)

1. Carefully press on the upper corner of the mirror element located closer to the door. Use a screwdriver to pry up and release the lower one from the frame (diagonally) corner of the mirror. Remove the latch by inserting a screwdriver into the hole provided in the upper part of the mirror housing and remove the mirror (see photo).



2. On some vehicles, disconnect the heater wires (see photo).



3. The mirror is inserted by pressing lightly until it clicks.
