Engines 2.0 l
1. Remove the crankshaft pulley (see Removal and installation of the crankshaft pulley).
2. Using a flat-blade screwdriver, remove the oil seal from the timing chain cover.
3. Clean the contact surfaces of the seat and the shaft journal, carefully removing any burrs and burrs from them that could lead to failure of the new stuffing box.
4. Lubricate the sealing lips of the new oil seal with clean engine oil and, using a cylindrical mandrel, evenly press the oil seal into the seat with the lips inside and flush with the surface of the cover.
An interchangeable socket of the appropriate size, or a piece of pipe of a suitable diameter, is suitable as a mandrel - make sure that the mandrel rests only on the hard edge of the stuffing box.
5. Remove traces of oil and reinstall the crankshaft pulley (see Removal and installation of the crankshaft pulley).

Engines 2.0 l
1. Remove flywheel/drive plate (see Removal, condition check and installation of a flywheel / drive disk).
2. The cuff is planted in the cover of the rear support of the crankshaft.
3. Replace the oil seal (see above Right (from the timing drive) stuffing box).
4. Install flywheel/drive plate (see Removal, condition check and installation of a flywheel / drive disk).
