Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
Disconnect the high voltage wires from the spark plugs and, if necessary, tag them for local installation.
Loosen the clamping screw and disconnect the hot air supply pipe to the air cleaner from the casing on the manifold.
Loosen the screws and remove the hot air shroud from the manifold.
While working under the manifold, remove the four bolts securing the exhaust pipe to the manifold.
Disconnect this pipe from the manifold and hang it on a wire. Do not allow the front section of the exhaust system to hang down under its own weight. Replace gasket.
Unscrew nuts and remove a collector from a head of the block of cylinders. Replace the position of the engine front bracket which is secured with one of the bolts (studs) manifold and remove the manifold gasket.
Install the manifold using a new gasket and ensure that the engine bracket is in place under the appropriate manifold nut.
Connect the exhaust pipe to the manifold, install a new gasket.
Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
