Front section

Raise the vehicle and secure it on stands under the bridge.

Remove the two bolts and detach the front section at the flexible joint. Remove the sealing ring and springs.

Remove the front exhaust section bolts from the bracket located on the cylinder block.

Loosen the bolts securing the intake pipe to the exhaust manifold and remove the front section.

Remove the gasket located between the intake pipe and the manifold, and where necessary, remove the springs from the bolts.

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Install a new gasket when connecting the inlet pipe to the manifold and a new sealing ring for the flexible connection.

Anterior expansion cavity

The operating procedure is the same as indicated in the first two points of the previous subsection "Front Section".

Remove the bolts (nuts) and disconnect the front section of the expansion chamber from the central exhaust system. Remove the sealing ring and gasket, where required, or springs.

Remove the section from under the vehicle.

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, however, it is necessary to use new sealing rings and gaskets.

Central section

Raise the vehicle and secure it on stands under the bridge.

Loosen the clamp bolt and separate the center section of the system from the rear section. If necessary, tap around the joint with a hammer to loosen the sealing gasket and carefully pry the two sections apart. Remember that the end of the center section fits inside the rear section and forms a cuff joint.

Loosen the bolts (nuts) and separate the center section of the exhaust system from the front section of the expansion chamber. Remove the sealing ring/gasket, or springs.

Remove the center section of the system from the mounting rubber pads on the underbody and remove from under the vehicle.

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. It is necessary to install a new sealing ring when connecting the flexible joint and lubricate the pipes with a special paste for exhaust pipes when connecting the central section to the rear.

Rear section

The order of work is as indicated in the first two points of the previous subsection.

Remove the rear section from the rubber mounting pads on the underbody and lift it out from under the vehicle.

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, however it is necessary to lubricate the pipes with a special paste for the exhaust system when connecting the rear section to the central one.
